Apple has delayed its plans to open its first brick-and-mortar store because of uncertainty in the markets. The company decided to launch the store after Tim Cook’s positivity about India and belief in the true potential of Indian Markets. India, being the 2nd most populous country in the world, has unparalleled vibrancy and demographics. The store was set to launch at the start of the year. However now, its release has been delayed till further confirmation.
Last September, Apple opened an online store in the country which brought its full range of products and support to customers across the country. The company launched its online store after most physical retail stores were forced to shut down due to the corona pandemic. According to Tim Cook, the online store was highly applauded in the country.
