Are HTC Phones Getting 5G Access?
According to The Verge, two brand new HTC phones are making their way to Taiwan. These include Desire 20 Pro and HTC U20 5G. Sources reveal that both these phones will be getting access to 5G, which is big news in itself.
While the HTC U20 5G has a 6.8 inch screen and a Full HD LCD display, it is packed with other surprises too. These include a 32MP selfie camera, a finger print sensor, a 48 mp sensor, 8mp ultrawide camera, 2mp depth camera and then macro cameras too.
Furthermore, the phone comes with the infamous Qualcomm mid-range packed with Snapdragon 765G processor. It has a big 5,000 mAh battery with 8GB RAM and 256 GB of storage. Its storage, however, can be expanded with microSD.
This phone supports 5G. Sources have confirmed that the new phone will be available in Taiwan for Pre-order from July 1. It will cost about NT$18,900, which is around $640.
The HTC Desire 20 Pro
On the other hand, the other phone, the HTC Desire 20 Pro, is perhaps lower in its capacity and comes without 5G support. It has a 6.5 inch display, though less powerful specs in comparison to the above-mentioned phone, it has a powerful Snapdragon 665 processor, 128 GB storage and 6GB RAM.
Furthermore, the Desire 20 Pro has a 5,000 mAh battery. This phone will be available from June 18th, and it will cost around $300 (NT$8,990).
People will enjoy using 5G technology on their phones because it is a step ahead than 4G technology. Furthermore, 5G will ensure quick and smooth operations online, which most business employers and workers will be looking for.
HTC has a lot to proof with these phones. Both these phones have too much to boast. They are also affordable. However, the one that comes with 5G support, in our opinion, will be the one in high demand.
