iPhone is and always has been very popular. However, with time, iPhone apps have started to record your screen.
Interestingly, apps and online services can be used to gather your data and they might be using it against advertising and analytics.
While few apps ask for your permission before they record any data, others don’t even ask for your permission and that is Alarming.
You never know what might be stealing your data but most iPhone Apps are. These apps are definitely transferring and storing your data and in the most breachful way.
Tech Crunch reports that certain popular iPhone applications are failing on two counts.
Many companies such as Air Canada, Expedia, Hollister and Hotels.com record your screen while using them and they often don’t even ask for your permission.
Moreover, others have confirmed to ‘TechCrunch’ that Air Canada is seeking customer information. According to reports, user information has entered in and collected on in Air Canada.
Majority of the companies today said that when they seek customer information, they try to improve your experience. However, even if they do say that their intentions are pure, they should be disclosing what they are trying to do. They might say its for your own safety but it is better that YOU protect your data.
In the midst of it all…
iPhone apps are taking your data away and they include the following:
- Air Canada
- Glassbox (In coordination with Air Canada)
Be careful when you are downloading apps because they are taking your data away.
